It is October 26th – 1:15am. The moment in 1985 when Marty McFly enters the “Twin Pines Mall” with his JVC camcorder at hand, rolling down the driveway on his skateboard to meet-up with his best friend, Dr. Emmett Brown to document his greatest invention he created.
That moment changed the course of history of everyone involved within the Back to the Future film franchise and the involvement of the DeLorean DMC-12 sports coupe.
Enter “October 26th – 1:15am” into the time circuits. This time, enter 2023.

Hundreds of Back to the Future film fans gathered together at the famed Puente Hills Mall – the film’s shooting location for the Twin Pines Mall scene where “Doc” unveils a DeLorean DMC-12 converted time machine. Four DeLorean DMC-12 automobiles, including a replica “time machine” graced the grounds at the annual informal gathering this morning at 1:15am!

Samantha Lebrecque has been attending the annual gathering for 2 years now. Back in 2018, she adopted her companion “Emmet” (also known throughout the group as “Dog Brown”). Samantha and Emmet enjoyed the early morning festivities, especially with the DeLorean DMC-12 automobiles that were lined up, and the famed “Marty’s Truck” – a 1985 Toyota SR5 4×4 pickup that was also on display with the DeLorean DMC-12’s.

Claudia Wells, who portrayed “Jennifer Parker” in the 1st installment of the Back to the Future film delivered a special message to the group.
A great time was had by all, including our own DeLorean Owners Association board member, Ronald Ferguson had a great time meeting with the dedicated fans of the famed film franchise throughout the early morning hours. Great thank you’s to the DeLorean owners that brought their beautiful DeLorean DMC-12 automobiles to the annual event, and to Claudia Wells for her wonderful message to the fans of the film.
Hey, the fun never stops. Check out the awesome photos and videos on the “1:15am Twin Pines Mall” Facebook group!
We will set our time circuits for next year – October 26, 2024 for the next space-time continuum of “Temporal Experiment Number 1!”
